I've managed to go running every Sunday for the last three weeks, usually in the morning around eight/nine o'clock. Was mostly cool but sunny outside and I enjoyed the weather a lot. Running went well so far - I'm not as out of shape as I'd feared.

Congratulations on your 5K PR! And that's great that you have tights you're happy with.

I had a bad week as I thought I had re-injured my stress fracture, and so backed off running and just did pool running, elliptical, and biking. But then last Friday I took a test run and felt mostly okay, and I ran again Sunday, Monday, and today. After seeing my doctor (on Monday) we think it's that my shoes are wearing out (I have been running these test runs in a newer pair) and that I have a bit of a gait issue due to a somewhat sore piriformis (the muscle between your butt and your upper back thigh). So I've got anti-inflammatories, and advice to see my massage therapist, and do more foam rolling, and toss the older shoes.

I do like the cooler weather for running! I actually ran 7 miles on Sunday in drizzle, and it was surprisingly pleasant.
