It goes well! On week three of training for a half-marathon, and as it is winter here, it is perfect weather for running. I am dreading going back to the northern hemisphere, where it will be disgustingly hot and I will melt into a puddle.
All programs I've seen are too ambitious and rigid for me and make me depressed - I was doing quite well with my own made-up program, until I twisted my ankle. Should piece something together again, because I definitely do need to be somewhat systematic if I want to train for longer distances.
Glad to hear your half-marathon training is going well! And I am jealous of your weather.
I just signed up for my first half-marathon, but it's not until Nov 10th. So I am plotting out a training schedule that I will start in a few weeks. Right now I'm just running whenever it isn't too hot.
