Still only the 5km from last Sunday. I didn't go running this week (temperatures up to 40°C), and even though it's a lot cooler today, I'll stay in and rest. I'm dead tired and weak, and I really hope the heat wave ends soon.

Wow, that is so hot! Sounds miserable just to do everyday things in that kind of heat. Hope you get cooler weather this week!

Yeah, it's a record heat for us - the hottest summer in Germany since 2003. Right now it's "only" 27°C outside where I live, and slightly overcast. Compared to the last few days it almost feels cool. As long as I'm not moving. Meh.

Running in 40ºC weather (104ºF, if I'm converting correctly?) sounds both dangerous and horrible. I hope things cool down for you soon!

Yep, that's what my convert tool gives me, too. Next week's supposed to be hot again, with the occasional thunderstorm for variety. Can't wait for summer to be over!
