February challenge!

I haven't actually decided WHAT our February challenge should be, but we're gonna have one!

Comment with your planned mileage and active hours (if you do that) for February.

New participants are welcome! Planned mileage can be in miles or kilometers, just indicate which (I am American and will assume miles if you don't say). Active hours can be a particular type of cross-training you want to push yourself to do (for me it's core work), or total amount of cross-training such as cycling, swimming, Crossfit, martial arts, etc.

When I have an idea of our aggregate goals, I'll come up with some interesting "travel plans"!

120 miles and 5 hours. It might be a stretch to get to that mileage, but I would like to try!

Hi! I am very new to both this community and running in general. I'm aiming for about 18 miles in February, and I don't have any planned active hours.

I'm still getting back into it AND I'm travelling again next week... so I'll keep it low at:

15km running; hopefully a bit more, but we'll see. And 6 activity hours (mostly CF, some bellydancing and walking)

Since I'll still be mostly off-plan but have put the annual flu behind me, let's make it 80 miles run and 20 hours of cross-training (cycling/swimming). Looking forward to interesting travel locations :)

planned mileage is 130 (I'm actually hoping for a bit more than that, but according to the 10% rule it shouldn't be too much more and my knees are already feeling a bit achy...

Planned hours is the usual around 40 - but i don't know if I should keep listing aikido - i spend a ridiculous time doing it and it is certainly a good workout, I'm just not sure if it counts for these purposes.

Yay challenge! You do the best challenges :-)

I say aikido counts! I love hearing about out it, anyway. :-)

Yay, thank you for doing this. I really want to get back on track in February after a fairly mixed couple of months. So I'm hoping for 40 km and 30 active hours, we'll see.

Thank you SO MUCH for taking on February's challenge.

After taking January off almost entirely, I would like to set my challenge at 40 miles run & 12 hours active time. It still might be a stretch to make that (comparatively modest) goal, but I plan to give it my best try.

I have no idea how/if my ankle's going to behave:

50 km, 3 active hours.

It's sucky from twisting two years ago in a 10K, and unfortunately throwing money at a sports PT only made it worse.
