weekly check-in :-)

Good lord, how can it possibly already be Monday night again?

What have you all been up to this week, running or other good stuff to share?

What is one thing that made you happy this week?

Gah, I got zero running done this week. Lots of cold & rain, and I'm a wimp about cold I've got cold-triggered asthma. Elderly relative in the hospital, stress & crazy-busy. Still, it would have helped my stress levels if I had been running.

Saturday was Big Bunny Fun Run, which I was supposed to run with my 12 year old daughter. She came down sick (like, really sick, fever, coughing, etc) on Friday evening and was too ill to run. And she asked me not to run, too, and stay home with her and commiserate, which I was glad to do.

What made me happy? Knowing it's spring and the weather will warm and I will have a chance to run again. Also, my kid wants to reschedule our 5K run for when she's feeling well, and she wants to get to wear her race t-shirt, after she has done so. But no sooner. :-)

*hug* That's really sweet that you're considering running the 5K with us! I'll be sure to let you know.

Tomorrow, I run! You inspire me.

Well, I had to stop running again three weeks ago, just two weeks after starting :(

I had a severe arthritis flare. But I am planning to start again now that I am getting treated. Probably starting with a skate today or tomorrow and then some running this weekend :)

I was on vacation and didn't take my shoes, so no running for me. But I did swim in the Mediterranean Sea, which was awesome!

I clocked up some serious mileage walking - I was a 'runner' on the backstage crew at JediCon, the European Star Wars con.

I guess running the opening ceremony, running into actors outside the lifts, running slightly late on everything, and running a Wookiee-showering facility in one's hotel bathroom counts?

I got 3 days in--Monday, Wednesday, Friday. I'm still working on Week 1 of 'Podrunner Intervals." I decided to count the run sections. Yesterday I stopped before the 5th run, so tomorrow I'll stop before the 6th run. I'm slowly, but surely getting through it.

I was nervous about running last week because I'd hurt my back the week before, but I took it easy with shorter runs, more on the treadmill and less outside, and everything seems to be okay. I did four runs and a total of 9.5 miles.

I was on holiday last week, so running was not only easier to fit in but I could actually get some hill runs done without having to drive for miles first. This week is dark (end of daylight saving) and cold, and I ended up going to the gym last night to run on the treadmill - but it still counts!
