I wanted to get 20 miles in this week, but only managed 11, once again skipping my long run in favor of a nap...
But, I had a great "run" Thursday with some of my colleagues from work. We ran to the Tidal Basin in DC for cherry blossom viewing and the weather was perfect, warm and sunny, not too humid :-) We did 4.5 miles total, but a large part of that was at a slow amble rather than a run as the crowds were so dense that running was impossible...still a great way to play hooky in the afternoon.
And in other news, I finally prevailed in my epic battle with my bike pedals and have successfully installed proper clipless road pedals on my shiny road bike. Next week, I'll post about how many times I fell down because I'm not used to the clipless road pedals as opposed to my usual SPDs...
