I thought I'd done really well two weeks ago and then I had a bad backache last Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday. Had to stop running completely then, did a little on Friday and a little more yesterday, but I've really had my confidence thrown. Like I'd been happy before about the progress I'd been making with mileage but now I think I must have overdone it, and I'm afraid to push now and ugh, feeling really discouraged. :(
Thank you! This week seems to be going okay, and I'm really relieved but still worried. It was about this time last year I had some knee troubles and I ended up barely running again until September, and then I just about had to start over. I feel okay about other things, like my fic writing, going in circles with other periods for rest. But it's such a setback with running, I don't know how to stick with it if I'm not making progress.
