July Challenge: Sundays will be weekly update-day. Today is Sunday!

So, I had this idea that if I couldn't find a fitting real-life or fictional distance, it might be fun to just head out the door and see where the road takes us?

As it turns out, our combined goal distance + active hours (in distance at average human walking speed) is pretty much spot on for the Wikipedia distance of the Limpopo River.

However, mulling it over, I decided travelling along the Limpopo River would be 1) a bitch to map, 2) maybe actually boring in the long run, 3) really suck in terms of mosquitoes.

So we're heading out the road and seeing where it takes us! And learning some European geography along the way, unless we paid attention at school and already know all the big cities.

We'll start at Skagen, the northern-most tip of Denmark, and head south for the German Border. When we get to Hamburg, Germany, y'all will vote on whether we continue south through Germany, turn east toward Poland, or West towards The Netherlands.

I hope you'll enjoy the trip :) !

Please post your mileage and active hours so far in the comments.
