In good news, I got a sports bra I think I like? (Difficult with 32FF breasts.) It's a Panache, and I'm going to test it out for the next few days. Yay sports bra that actually fits!

Have you tried run/walking - e.g. 1 min running, 1 minute walking, or whichever ratio works well for you? I've had great success with this method for getting back into running after breaks.
A good sports bra is gold - I have a large chest with tiny breasts that need a lot of support. According to sports bra manufacturers, I don't exist. They neither believe small-breasted women could have large chests, nor that we could need a whole lot of support. So it's a pick between large band and sorta correct cup-size without enough support, or sorta correct cup-size and support, but band tight enough to bother my breathing >:[

And yes, omg, it is SO HARD to find sports bras that actually work for people with the normal human variation of breast and chest sizes. And most of the standard running brands pretend like we all fit within 34A-40D, the end. Urgh.

But when I'd started up again after a long break/injury, it was mentally easier to get out and run, if I knew I could walk every third minute or whatever. And I found that I ran the running intervals fairly fast, and got in shape quicker than I had been used to, because they acted as sort of gentler interval training.
But whatever works best for you is what you should do :)

So I ended up running/walking a total of 1.25 mi yesterday. (Said Spouse when I came in, "There's not a prize for Running The Farthest Without Walking. The prize is for exercising.")
So I am eating my humble pie and am going to try run/walk intervals--at least until my legs stop being so sore!
