Last week was low mileage due to giving blood. This week the weather's taken a turn for the nasty, and I think I'm going to hold off running until Wednesday morning, but hopefully I'll get above 10 km this week :)

(I kind of stopped giving blood these days...but I remember how it would suck the energy out of me. I also used to pass out regularly because of somewhat low blood pressure and low iron levels. That was always amusing...) You're still having a great running month despite the weather!

I don't pass out, at least, but it definitely takes more than a day, or whatever some people claim, before I no longer feel it - easily 10-14 days.

Yeah, it's going so well, yay! And I DID make myself get out of bed at 6 am this morning, and ran in the dark and cold and wet; very proud!!

Go you! I did not get up at 6 to run in the dark today. I'm going to go at lunch when it's light because I'm actually a wimp...

On the weekends I like to run mid-morning. Or mid-afternoon, if for reasons :)

Aw, bummer on the weather. I feel almost like I'm cheating, with such beautiful sunny weather in mid-January.

I'd like the record to show that I DID get up this morning and ran 4.87 km in the dark, cold, and damp weather! I'll leave the address to ship my medal to.

Tangent: I hear you have ideas for a challenge for February? I was thinking we should definitely do something, and that we should take turns :)

As with the weekly check-ins, it'll peter out eventually, but whatever, we'll have fun for a while!
