I amazed myself by running all 6 days I had planned last week, sometimes with snow actually falling, sometimes in sunny beautiful but cold weather. I prefer the cold to the snow.

I can't comprehend of being able to run 6 days in a week! My knees seem to prefer two rest days between runs, even the pathetic short runs I'm currently doing :o/

I prefer cold to precipitation, too - I did once get caught in not one, but two hailstorms on a run, and it was funny, just because it was so absurd to run in, esp. by the second one :o)

I worked up to mostly-daily running over a long period of time. I didn't ever run two days in a row until just last year. I think that my body eventually decided it was easier to run smaller amounts per day but run every day than to run every other or once every three days and run more miles at a time.

I thought by running such a short distance,¹ I could quickly work up to running every two days or more! But not so yet.

¹ I assumed I was running ca. 2.4 km, but timing myself yesterday, it took 19 minutes, and surely I'm not that slow.
