I amazed myself by running all 6 days I had planned last week, sometimes with snow actually falling, sometimes in sunny beautiful but cold weather. I prefer the cold to the snow.

I am running 3 days a week as part of my triathlon training and it remains slow going. I had a great run today though. It was not longer than usual, but it was faster and, most importantly, my legs made barely a whimper at the stress. I don't know if they're finally getting used to it or if it's because I took 2 days rest this weekend, but I hope this is a trend.

Oooh, also, I got a Garmin last week. There are timers! And heart rate monitors! And maps and GRAPHS! *does the geeky toy dance*
