check in!

How goes it, runners?

I am recovering from my marathon and feeling pretty good. So far the weather has been pretty good for running, but it's supposed to snow next week. What about you?

I right where you were--the cycling is definitely my most familiar and comfortable portion of the race. The one I'm thinking of is the DC triathlon, which just opened its registration today. It's 11 months out, which I think is enough time for training. I wouldn't break any records, but I think I could be good enough to complete it in the allotted time limits. It sounds like a lot of fun and as far as courses go it's not hard. At least the cycling and the running parts aren't; I've never tried to swim the Potomac. *wibbles at the sign up form*
