Check-in

Check-in admittedly partly so I can tell you I ran my first 15K!

How are you doing?

Has anyone fallen off the running wagon and finding it hard to get back on - and can we do anything to help :) ?

I am getting back on! Completed week 4 of couch-to-5k yesterday, though by doing a slightly different run than in the program. I got myself a Garmin Forerunner 110 on Saturday and wanted to see how far I could run. Apparently, 10 minutes (about 1.2K) and another 10 minutes (about 1.1K) after a three minute walk. my total, including a long warm-up and cool-down walking to/from the park was

Distance: 4.37 km
Time: 45:17
Avg Pace: 10:22 min/km

according to the Garmin page.

Well, first moving, then job, then other stuff - there was always something.

And heh, yeah, I really enjoy swimming. It's strange to think that I can swim at a decent speed further than I can jog.

Yay for getting back into it! (also, it's fun to play with the Garmin maps and things :-)

Yep, those maps are kind of awesome.
