Last week I was horribly sick and had to do some serious rejiggering of the current training plan to try to get back onto schedule. Apparently, I can't run with stomach cramps.
But then Sunday I had a nice 5 km PR (race report soon, I hope) and I'm about to head out for today's planned 8 miler :-)
The next BIG THING is the Frankfurt Marathon on October 30th :-)
Not even remotely. I'm using Hal Higdon's Intermediate I plan and last week I was sick enough that I missed my 18 miler so I switched my "rest" week this week with last week and so have an 18 this week, a 20 next week, another rest week, another 20 and that's it for the long runs. So in a way, I haven't even started the hard part of the schedule yet...but Hal hasn't let me down before so hopefully my little bobble in the middle here will even out...
