I hope to participate in a low-key but timed 5K race on Saturday - I haven't quite decided whether I want to try and run the whole way (having not run since my last race on Sep 3rd - though I do bike at least 10K every day getting to and from work), or whether I should just run/walk it in intervals - my knee was quite achy after last race, so it'd probably appreciate the latter.

Hmm. I have no problem running after being off for a while, but I run more in general. Probably the run/walk is smarter.
