weekly check-in

So, those of you who ran races this past weekend - how did you do? Link us to your race report, if you wrote one - and if you didn't, write one now!

If you didn't race, tell us about your week in running, or about what you have planned coming up, or about your next planned race. Or anything else. :-)

Hmm. Just over a week ago my city was hit by an earthquake (7.1 magnitude) that caused a lot of damage but, extremely fortunately, no loss of life. I was out of the country, but flew back the next day in time for lots of aftershocks, contaminated water supplies and so forth. There was actually a run scheduled at my club for three hours after the quake - two very hardy souls turned up! - but otherwise it's been a bit disorganised this past week, and what with road closures and aftershocks I didn't run again until last Saturday's club run, which was a very good hilly one. Definitely therapeutic, and I'm trying to do more this week!

Hope she's doing okay! Things are slowly getting back to normal, but there are a lot of buildings damaged, and the aftershocks aren't helping - we had three in quick succession about 10.30 last night, which makes it difficult to switch off and go to sleep.
