wait, April is over already?

Dear patient Runners,

Let us know how you finished out your April! Was it great? Did it suck? Are you motivated for May and [personal profile] raininshadows running the May challenge? I know that I am! May is going to be a better running month than April for me, I am certain of that!

Here's a quick spreadsheet of what's we've been doing (or not doing) this month), give me your end totals and we can either put this month to its well-deserved rest or for a stalwart few - celebrate and injury-free, move-free job well done. Regardless, we all persevered and are here to run again another month!

My April totals are: 5 km (one run only, sigh), and 26 active hours (woo hoo)!

My running total for the month stuck at 20km. The shame xD

Active hours of climbing and hiking I fully hit my target of 36h though. So that's something...

I made 18 miles, but 4.5 active hours total. It was an interesting month. On the other hand, I also got signed up for a 10k next January and a 5k in June, so that's good.

64 miles for me--unfortunately, I totally failed on the "no injury" front. MRI tomorrow. Still hoping for the Edinburgh half, but I'm very depressed.

Well, you will see me there, no matter what--we have plane tickets and a prepaid apartment. [g] I'll post an update to the comm instead of getting into details here. We're arriving in the afternoon on the 29th--you and Tem will already have been there for a while, right? We'll have to make arrangements for meeting up. Three weeks!

Oh... well, as you know only too well because you were there, moving house has sort of put a damper on my goals for this past month.

As such, I only managed to run 6 times for a total of 35 miles - but I did a lot of Other (biking, moving boxes, and painting walls/scrubbing surfaces, and yes that totally counts as a workout!) so my active hours clocked in at 25!

116 miles, 7 hours. Didn't quite make my mileage goal because I took some days off after my trail half. (Which was fun, other than a big fall 3 miles in. I still have some big colorful bruises.)

I had thought I had a not-meeting goals month... but it turns out, I ran a lot more, hiked a lot more, and generally did more exercise, than I thought I did! One of the reasons for this is I've decided that if I only have a little bit of time between my daily responsibilities, I can just pull on the running shoes and go around the block a couple times. It's helped my speed improve to add in these little sprint-distance runs.

total miles: 78.94 (we can call that 79, can't we? :-})

Total hours: 20.75

April sucked mightily for me due to injury and illness both. I did not keep track of hours, and I ran a total of 47.6 miles.
