It felt like a pretty crap month, running-wise, though I guess considering I was sick for a week, and not feeling great a week after that, the mileage isn't as bad as I thought.
Still, if I want to make my 2014 mileage goal, I need to get back into running 4 times a week, which I had just managed to implement before getting sick.
I had 17.5 more miles, for 102 miles total. I'm pretty happy with that! I won't be running as much in the next few months, but I want to make sure I don't let it drop off too much, as I just signed up for a half marathon in the spring.
16 miles in the last week (not counting the weekend, which is November :-) but I am probably not going to be running much for the next few weeks, either. My butt-hamstring-thigh issues are getting worse, and I've got a massage scheduled for Thursday; if that doesn't do the trick, it's time for PT. :-(

October was not great, I was a bit snowed under and struggling with the change of seasons. However every week I either achieved my modest goals or fell only slightly short. Including the last fractional week, when I did in fact go for two runs and one of them was at my goal pace for 5K. Now I'm working towards a new, scarily fast goal pace over that distance!
Winter is hard! So far we have had some cold days, and some dark/cloudy days, but not many of the cold AND cloudy days. Those are the worst - it becomes hard to convince myself that I want to get outside and run!

I went for a few runs in October.
The least said about that month the better.
