No runs last week due to cold dragging out, but I kind of expected it, esp. as the week wore on.
I still feel a bit feeble, so I hope to go for a short run (< 3 km) tomorrow and Wednesday to get my legs back, then hopefully two longer runs (longer than 3 km…) over the weekend.
This week went a lot better. I ran the Steamtown Marathon yesterday. It wasn't fast, but it was stronger than I was expecting on a more difficult course that I thought it would be. So, pretty happy with that.
I'm at 50 miles for the month and 3 activity hours.
This week, I am running two races: a trail half marathon on Saturday and a road half marathon on Sunday. My goal is under 2:35 for the first one and under 1:50 for the second one, and to not get sick, like everyone else seems to be!
Win all around! I finished 2:32:xx in the trail half, 1:45:xx in the road half (which was a short course - but it would have been around 1:48 for the full distance), and I am so far (knock wood) NOT SICK!
Race report to come in my journal...and I need to get it written before this weekend, because my big goal for this week is to run my first ultramarathon on Saturday, the Deadhorse 50K. I'd like to come in under 6:30, but my main goal is to finish and not be completely miserable.
Managed one run of my planned 2. I am struggling a lot with the change of seasons, on top of the fact that last week was exceptionally stressful.
Third week: I aim to run 3 times, and to join the gym so that I stop getting stymied by the cold weather and darkness, and can get my habits back for the next few months.

Yeah, the dark and the rain we're having here, is putting a damper on me :/

This week might turn out a bit better and I really hope I will get at least one run in.
