Hi Runners!

So, I've been considering creating a cafepress or zazzle shop specifically for fannish runners with cool, fannish related slogans/graphics on tech shirts that we can wear running.

Naturally, I thought the first one should be LOTR themed.

I was thinking of having it say on the front: "One does not simply walk into Mordor" and on the back, "One runs!"

(any ideas for a simple one-color graphic that would be representative? Or are the words enough?)

Any interest in something like this? We could even label it DW Runners 2014 in small letters somewhere and make it the team shirt...

I'm also thinking about a Dr Who one, of course :-)

Either "Run when I say run" or Allons-y or something along those lines - unless you have a better idea?

And Captain America that says "On your left"

Heh. What about (yes, I'm stealing song titles now) with "A whole lot of running to do" and then some reference that I - or someone else - needs to come up with to make clear that this is about the Doctor.

Or an image of the Tardis or something.

Hm. Allons-y is a bit specific to a certain Doctor ;) "Run when I say run" is okay, it fits all of them (thought it was 9 who said it, right? Anyway, more generic. Which is good).

I don't know Captain America so I can't comment on that *G*

Now I'm trying to think of t-shirts for GoT - one for each house plus one for Jon Snow *G*. Ack. Someone needs to stop me.

The ONLY thing that bothers me is that I don't like running in cotton. But, I would get one and just wear it as an everyday shirt *G*.

Not running in cotton! That is exactly why I want to do this - so i can do tech fabrics with good running themed fannish content. (Run when i say run goes all the way back to 2, actually)

I love the idea of a fannish/running shirt.

BUT.

I have to say, I never run in anything but cotton. And my skin officially HATESES the fabric in nearly all "tech" shirts. :-/ So I can't promise I'd go for one of these.

I love the idea, too, but have too many mediocre-quality tech shirts already.

I'd love a high-quality tech shirt (of my own choosing) with a teefury-/qwerty-type print - http://www.qwertee.com/product/blood-and-ice-cream would totes be running relevant :D

I love this idea--but agree about mediocre tech shirts. I'd love to hear people's recs for companies that do really high quality tech shirts, tangentially or so that we could perhaps pay a bit more for something we would actually use.
