8 more miles, so I (barely) passed my goal, at 40.5 miles total!

And thanks for organizing the challenge - it definitely motivated me to fit in runs while faced with terrible weather and my work schedule!

Hey, you'd never updated from my previous week! I was at 185 last week - but I ended the month with 209, hooray!

And, thanks for starting us out with a challenge. I think whether or not it's motivating to run, it's certainly community-building.

Aw, bummer on the disappointment (knees?) but I hope your 10K goes well! I wish 10K was a more popular distance in the US.

I didn't join the challenge this month, myself, yet I answered that YES, the challenge motivated me to run more than I would have, otherwise! Thanks for posting about this.

115! Highest mileage month in over a year :-) (ok, that's partly because i was spending far too much time biking and swimming last year, but still)

Yep, I ended the month at 5.1 mi. Which, hey, is a higher mileage than any of the past nine months! :-P

Definitely felt like I could have run today (probably), so going to concentrate on drinking lots of water and go for it tomorrow.

Oh! Right. Checking DW.

I am still sick so I finished out January with a measly 4 additional miles. Bah. And the cough keeps on going! I've been ordered on rest for most of this week after running 4 miles on Tuesday and then spending the night coughing up a lung. BAH.
