Not bad! You know, in that way in which I'm not actually running very far or with any sort of daily frequency, but I am running enough not to have OMGPAIN every time I do it. So yay.

And no flu as of yet. I'm hopeful for the future though as my company has instituted a mandatory sick leave policy for anyone showing even remote signs of flu symptoms. mmmmmmmandatory sloth. :)

Haha, as you know, on Saturday I ran a hilly marathon in the snow! For anyone else who wants to see just how insane I am, race report is here.

I haven't run since, but I walked probably 4 miles today. Tomorrow I think I might try an easy slow jog.

My next goal is to goof off for a while before starting seriously training again in mid-December.

Oh my god. Congratulations!!! That looks like the sort of weather I appreciate from indoors (or from a rather unsettled southern hemisphere spring), so go you - and great time, too! Any goofing off is definitely deserved.

I intended to have a fairly low-key half-marathon recovery schedule, but last Saturday the only two people in my running club as slow as me were both training for a half-ironman, so I ended up doing ~15k and my feet were rather unhappy. This is the first time I've had a major problem with blisters - think I hadn't quite broken my shoes in enough before the run.

My plan is to keep running at least 3 times a week through December, and then start in on the speed work etc in the New Year - might do a couple of 10ks on the way.

Heh, that is why I very rarely run with a group. And the running group here sets things up so that it's easy to peel off at any moment to make a shorter run.

Running 3x/week through December sounds good!
