(apologies for being so late with the welcoming comment - this week work crushed me and i was without internet all weekend)
Anyway - please check in, make posts, join us in any way that works for you :-) We love new folks around here - it's hard getting new-ish running comms going.
And yes, food is good! When I was marathon training - I was failing miserably to get enough good calories into me and it took me forever to figure that out. Now, I'm a bit more obsessive and don't leave for long runs or rides without a few powerbars and money for lunch if it's a bike ride..
