weekly check-in

How'd your week go last week? What do you have planned for this week?

Question: did you have any goals for the year, and if so, did you accomplish them? Have you set any goals for next year?

Shall we make a formal 2011 goal-setting post to come back to at this time next year and see how we all did?

I ran about 18 miles last week, which is decent, but I didn't get a chance to run on Sunday or Monday, and when I went to the gym today I found out that I won't be able to use it for the rest of the year (for financial/administrative reasons). :( :( I don't really know what I'm going to do, so this is a bad time for me to set new goals...but I'd enjoy having a 2011 goal-setting post!

Last week I ran 47 minutes without stopping (first time ever!) and then got sick with the death-cold and didn't run a step. I did my first post-cold run tonight, a 5K, and it went pretty well. I've started half marathon training (will join the group runs Saturday) and have a schedule. So my goal atm is to get through HM training and not freeze to death running outside. :)

Love the idea of a 2011 goal-setting post.

I started the Half Marathon Training Program (words still capped in my head), which went pretty well. I am in the last pace group, natch, but they didn't drop me like I expected them to. We're focusing on building miles for the next few weeks and I'm concerned that there are no recovery weeks built into these training plans, but we'll see how it goes.

I think a 2011 goal setting post would be awesome, especially since I've been putting off setting my formal 2011 racing goals for a while now.

Congrats on your 10k! Way fast!!

I didn't make my under 2h half marathon goal this year, but I did manage to keep to my training plan for it. And next year the puppy will be old enough to run with, and I should get more training in!
