Weekend Racers?

So who's racing this weekend? What are you up to? Share it with us! :D

As for myself, I've got my first 10K on Sunday! I'm excited and nervous - especially since my hip which I injured in a bike wreck in 7th grade (pulled muscle, but still) has decided to be twingy. Hopefully it will straighten itself out.

I'm not racing this weekend, just planning on some training. Currently trying to talk the bloke into joining me for a 10k on NYE. He seems to think it's not a great idea after the usual yuletide guzzling. I disagree.

I'm also doing a 10K (my second ever) but tomorrow. Sunday is our local marathon and there are a bunch of shorter races leading up to it. I went to pick up my race packet today and there was a big expo for the marathon, which was pretty neat. I'm proud of myself for resisting spending any money today (even though there were some really nice tee shirts) but got some ideas for other races I might do in the next year. I think I'd like to try a half marathon next spring.
