Weekly check-in

"Everyone who has run knows that its most important value is in removing tension and allowing a release from whatever other cares the day may bring." - Jimmy Carter

What did you accomplish last week? What are your goals for next week?

Is thinking about running equipment a fun part of your hobby?

Having a long run and a couple of shorter ones is good, but the distance of the long run shouldn't be more than half your weekly total. So if you're running 3x/week, when you get your long run up to 10K you should start extending one of your shorter runs or add another running day.

Speed intervals aren't really going to help you much at this point, but it would be reasonable to try to run one of your short days fast after an easy warm-up.
