September challenge?

Hi there [community profile] runners! Anyone up for a September challenge? Nothing fancy, I'll just do a weekly check-in and month-end round up post.

If you're interested, comment with your goals for miles/km and/or active hours for the month. And if you're working toward any specific running/exercise goals, that would be fun to hear about, too.

I'm at the tail end of a bout of plantar fasciitis (hopefully) which means I have my lowest mileage goal ever: 30 miles, but 27 hours of biking and other activity!

Huge Empathy on the plantar fascitis!! I'm still struggling with mine, but it's better than it was. Biking was my sanity-saver when I couldn't run as much, so I know you'll heal up and be fine again soon.

That sounds great, thank you! I'm going for 20 miles and 4 active hours this month, with the goal of finishing the Disneyland Star Wars 10K/Half Marathon (on back-to-back days; I'm doing both) in January.

Thanks so much for taking up the baton, here! I appreciate it a lot. I'm looking to get back in the saddle, after being tossed off by stupid health issues.

20 miles running, 30 active hours for the month. That's my goal. I'm also hoping to be consistent in my core training and upper body workouts, to keep in shape for kayaking and other boating sports. No races planned at the moment.
