Born to Run
Anyone else read Born to Run and have an inexplicable urge to start training for an ultra?
I just finished it and rather than throw out my running shoes and buy a pair of Lunas or Vibrams, I want to go out and start having 100 mile weeks and 50 mile runs and meeting the wonderful, crazy folks described in that book.
Anyone else have these insane urges?

50 miles (or 100K = 62 miles) would be the most I'd ever want to do, though. I am not a fan of sleep deprivation.
You might try to find Ultramarathon Man by Dean Karnazes, which I also enjoyed. Karnazes comes off as a little full of himself sometimes, but it's really an entertaining book.
