Need to share this:

For reasons mostly related to my f*ing health (I have rheumatoid arthritis), I haven't run since April. And I haven't run anything longer than 1 kilometer without needing a break at a time since last November or so. After a break of more than a month, I usually start at the "need a break after 200 meters" point.

For the past few months, I have been doing weight training and kickboxing, but on Thursday, the weather was so gorgeous, I just felt the urge to run. And so I did. 1 km, a 500 meter walking break, and another 1 km running interval. And on Saturday, I did it again, with 1.5 km - 0.5 km - 1 km that time.

This feels so good. I don't think I'll run much over the cold season, but just to know that I probably won't start from scratch again as long as I keep up the other exercise is so nice. And I'll try to make one run a week a part of my regular exercise.
