Question about "jogging" vs. "running"
One of the 5K's I'm looking at doing in September has a list of things not allowed on the route. It has the normal things you'd expect: strollers, roller blades, scooters, etc. But it also lists "jogging" in that list of no-nos. And that made me wonder...
What is the difference between "jogging" and "running"? Is it a difference in miles per hour? If so, what would you say is the mph for each one? If not, what would you say the difference is?
I'd think this is the 5K I'd like to do, but I don't want to get into any trouble for "jogging" when I think I'm "running".
Thoughts?
Edit... Hmm...I just looked at the page again, and the word used is "joggers". It comes right after "strollers" so I don't know if they mean jogging strollers or people jogging. Hmm. I emailed them for clarification.
