Hi everyone, hope your running is going well! Please post your third week's distance/active time here. I'll update this post with our new location. I think we'll probably pass out of the main group of (human-)inhabited islands this week.

Hi everyone, hope your running is going better than mine! Please post your second week's distance/active time here. I'll update this post with our new location. Who knows, we may end up in the Pacific Ocean. At least it's summer - the water should be warm!

ETA: We're now 422 km (262 miles) along, which puts us just at the tip of Oahu (where Honolulu is). The distance allows us to place ourselves on the beach in Ka'ena Point State Park. :)

Hi everyone, how's your running going? Please post your first week's distance/active time here. I'm sure we must have made it to Maui (about 185 km/115 miles) by now!

ETA later on the 8th We're nearly at Maui (161.5 km/101 miles) and not everyone has checked in. \o/

ETA on the 9th We're at 213 km/132 miles! This puts us in the middle of Maui, near the Waihou Spring Forest Reserve.

Dear patient Runners,

Let us know how you finished out your April! Was it great? Did it suck? Are you motivated for May and [personal profile] raininshadows running the May challenge? I know that I am! May is going to be a better running month than April for me, I am certain of that!

Here's a quick spreadsheet of what's we've been doing (or not doing) this month), give me your end totals and we can either put this month to its well-deserved rest or for a stalwart few - celebrate and injury-free, move-free job well done. Regardless, we all persevered and are here to run again another month!

Comment here with the April totals!

How did March go for you?

[personal profile] ell, do you still want to take on April? If not, anyone else?

We made it through February! Please comment with your total distance and active hours for the month (or for the past week, and let me know which you've listed)!

And I completely forgot to ask if anyone wanted to run a March challenge...any volunteers?

We are now 3/4 through February! (And I bet those of you living in the midwest and east coast US are thankful for that...)

How many miles did you run or walk this week? How many active hours did you log in your chosen activity? Please make it clear if your numbers are for the month so far, or for last week only.

Happy Monday Runners! Check in here with the last of your March mileage!

We had a gorgeous weekend here in Germany and had a great long run yesterday. Earlier in the week, I was still in the US on the east coast where my run last Wednesday took place in freezing wind and right after a snowstorm. Ah spring!

I am failing completely to update the challenge in the way I'd hoped to, but at least I'm managing the Monday check-ins!

Here's where we stand so far:
The Crew:
[personal profile] meri_oddities 91 miles of 110 miles or 177 km = 83%
[personal profile] ridicully 104 km of 93 miles or 150 km = 69%
[personal profile] silveraspen 50 miles or 81 km
[profile] franzi 12 km of 9 miles or 15 km = 80%
[personal profile] temve 131.4 mi of 140 miles or 226 km = 93%
[personal profile] thalia 47 miles 65 miles or 105 km = 72%
[personal profile] semielliptical 42 miles of 55 miles or 89 km = 76%
[personal profile] linaelyn 81 miles of 75 miles or 121 km = 108%
[personal profile] blnchflr 50.5 km of 44 miles or 71 km = 71%
[personal profile] ilanarama 150.5 miles of 200 miles or 323 km = 70%
[personal profile] seventhe 10.5 miles of 15 miles or 24 km = 70%
[personal profile] calico_jane 27.74 miles of 35 miles or 56 km = 79%
[personal profile] ell 127.5 miles of 160 miles or 258 km = 80%
[personal profile] cadenzamuse 2.8 miles + yoga Supernumerary (means she doesn't have to stand watch and swab decks. That's what all the scientists on the HMS Challenger were designated as.)

Up to last Monday, we ran 784 miles (1264 km) which is 77% of our total goal for the month and 92% of the way to Halifax!

I was still in the US for half this week and am still struggling to get back to my normal routine.

For next month, [personal profile] calico_jane has possibly volunteered to do the updates (or I completely misunderstood); anyway, it will all become clear in comments, I'm sure.

We've got several folks who are on the DL list (yes, baseball season started today, so there will be some baseball references creeping in occasionally) so for next month, I make a motion that walking, yoga, swimming, etc also count in some way to our totals - maybe we could have a running distance total and an hours of movement total so that the folks who are going crazy because they can't run can see that they're not just sitting around but are actively recovering!

May
